Flood Insurance

We checked the forecast and it looks like rain. Surprise, surprise!

Pacific North-westerners areused to the endless forecasts of grey skies with a chance of precipitation.  Surprisingly though, there are a lot of people in the Pacific Northwest who do not have adequate flood insurance for their home and belongings.

Protecting your home from the damaging effects of a flood is extremely important. Floods can completely destroy a home. We’ve all seen it on TV. Who is to say that it can’t happen to you!

Most homeowner’s insurance policies do not cover flood insurance. You need a separate flood insurance policy to cover your home from flood damage. Even if you aren’t near water, you could find yourself underwater.
